The South Down's is becoming a National Park, and as part of the upgrade to this status as many as 4 new Mountain Biking Centres could be opened by 2015.
£1m has been put a side by the European body Collabor8. This means new trails, trail centres and more opportunities in the south east of England. The first will be Stanmer Park in Brighton.
Other sites include Horton Forest, Arundel and Friston Forest near Eastbourne.
