The GIANT Talon 2 is a hardtail mountain bike which uses Giant's Aluxx aluminium to create a value frame with round seat tubes and seatstays. The downtube is wide and flat looking with an oval headtube giving the frame a really trick look.
The Giant gets Rockshox Dart 2 TK forks with 100mm travel. The action is good, but the adjuster feels cheap. The GIANT Talon 2 gets a Shimano Alivio/STX mix with a decent wheelset of Giant rims and Formula rims.
The bike weighs 29.6lb, and comes as standard with Kenda Nevegal tyres, which feel a bit heavy on smooth fireroads.
